Busy Batchelor

When the ABC ‘shield’ changed to the ‘triangle’ in 1959, a new startup tune was introduced: Busy Batchelor, by Associated-Rediffusion’s Redvers Kyle, who composed music as a hobby (he did not compose this tune for A-R).
It was used until Perpetuum Mobile, as also used later by Thames, was introduced in 1962.
